An exciting new update has arrived to conclude the summer season with a bang. Players can anticipate wielding the powerful FG 42 machine gun to dominate their opponents, enjoy enhanced Airdrop rewards during Encounters, relish an improved matchmaking system, and much more.

The Return of a Military-Themed Season:

After a notable absence, a much-awaited military-inspired season is making its return. Reminiscent of the Chronicles: Vengeance Battle Pass, the cosmetics exude a tactical flair. This highly sought-after military season concept is bound to captivate players with its array of appealing gear.

Harnessing the Might of the FG 42:

Central to this update, the Battle Pass introduces the exclusive FG 42 machine gun, a weapon of devastating force to be wielded across the Outlands.

Revamped Buried Cache Mechanism:

Notably, the Buried Cache mechanics have undergone a significant overhaul. Polaroid indicators marking cache locations have been replaced. Instead, players will discover a map and key within vehicles and cabinets. Acquiring these items will prompt players to consult their map for the cache's whereabouts. Quick action is advised, as the appearance of cache keys corresponds to the number of players within a specific map.

Elevated Rewards and Plan Drop Rates:

This update introduces a dynamic where players boosting the "Better Crate" before Encounters can reap augmented rewards, including Crowns and Fireworks. Responding to community feedback, the chance of acquiring Weapon and Consumable Plans from Crates has been increased. This adjustment aims to provide more players with valuable blueprints, enhancing their Outlands experience.

Enhanced Grenade Mechanics and Flash Grenade Dynamics:

Improvements to throwable trajectories and travel speeds have been implemented, allowing for more strategic options. Additionally, the Flash Grenade's impact now factors in distance rather than the player's orientation, providing a more realistic and engaging outcome.
