Yadav revealed that both coach Rahul Dravid and captain Rohit Sharma have advised him to approach his innings with patience and then unleash his natural aggressive style of play. Yadav shared their guidance, saying, "This is a format I don't play as frequently. They advised me to rethink my approach. They said, 'You are aware of the impact you can create in the final overs. Just focus on facing 45-50 balls.'"

He recognized the responsibility now rests on his shoulders to adapt to this advice and align his batting strategy with the team's requirements, emphasizing, "Now it's up to me to utilize this opportunity effectively and adjust my batting according to the team's needs."
